We are currently seeking a full-time Overnight Pet Friendly Caregiver to join our team in Summerville, SC. The individual in this role will be responsible for providing compassionate and personalized care to our clients during the overnight hours, while also ensuring the well-being and safety of their pets. Responsibilities:
• Provide hands-on assistance with daily tasks such as grooming, toileting, and dressing
• Administer medications according to prescribed schedule
• Prepare and serve meals following dietary restrictions
• Assist with light housekeeping duties
• Monitor clients' health and report any changes to the care team
• Ensure the safety and well-being of clients and their pets at all times
• Engage in meaningful activities and conversations with clients
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
• Prior experience in caregiving or working with the elderly and individuals with disabilities is preferred
• Must be comfortable working with pets
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
• Must be patient, compassionate, and trustworthy
