General Statement of Job:

The Video Review Specialist is the direct liaison to the client responsible for receiving, processing, reviewing, analyzing and closing all incoming requests from the clients Loss Prevention program and external agencies. The ideal candidate must have great interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic work environment. The Video Review Specialist reports directly to the Special Projects Watch Commander.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Job Functions:
  • Learn and become familiar with Athena Case Management (ACM) and Review ACM leads and confirm or refute via CCTV footage.
  • Create a BOX folder containing confirmed events, including videos and observations, for RSBP's review and engagement. Also, establish a separate BOX folder with refuted events, including screenshots and observations.
  • Partner with Fraud Manager for feedback on the tool or its results for future enhancements.
  • Familiarize yourself with Business Objects and utilize select reports to conduct pulse checks on known destructive behaviors in high-risk stores.
  • Confirm these activities through CCTV footage. Establish a dedicated BOX folder for confirmed destructive behaviors, providing RSBP with supportive evidence and observations to facilitate clarity, review, and engagement.
  • Create a rolling list of store CCTV systems, reviewing them for mispositioned cameras, blockages, or outages. Maintain a spreadsheet to document these issues and store it in BOX for easy access and reference. Additionally, ensure the preservation of all significant crime images and CCTV footage associated with the activity.
  • Review Carrier Fraud Leads identified by SDS and shared by Fraud Manager. Capture video and screenshots of the suspicious activity and store them in a designated BOX folder for RSBP's review. Additionally, document any recurring bad actors and establish separate BOX folders for each subject, allowing Fraud Manager to review them.
  • Review incident reports for similar activity and confirm via CCTV in incidents like Demo Theft group or Fraud Ring.
  • Create a BOX folder with relevant activities and establish a spreadsheet documenting acts, events, transactions, etc. Identify acts by the same subject(s) and document them in the ORC BOX folder, collaborating with the Fraud Manager for further steps. Provide support for ad-hoc investigative requests, including CCTV review for specific investigations.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
  • High School Degree required; AA degree in Business Administration preferred.
  • 3- 5 years in Loss Prevention, Global Security Operations Center, or Law Enforcement preferred.
  • Proficiency in PC and iOS hardware and software, including word processing, data analysis, presentation, Keynote, Pages, and Numbers.
  • Complete and maintain state guard certification as prescribed by presiding state law, as well as all client-requested certification; all documentation and fees are the employee's responsibility unless otherwise noted.
  • Must be a dependable team player with business maturity and enthusiasm with the ability to deliver a high level of customer service.
  • Have the flexibility to work any shifts on any day of the week (Mon-Sun) and willingness to assist the team with overtime when needed.
  • Domestic Travel up to 5% of the time required.
