Overnight Hotel Personnel

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Register and check in for guests arriving late at night.
• Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
• Resolve guest complaints or issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
• Ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and hotel property through vigilant monitoring and patrolling of premises.
• Conduct regular inspections of the hotel grounds, including parking areas, to identify and address potential security vulnerabilities.
• Aid and support to guests and staff in security-related matters, including escorting individuals to their vehicles or rooms, or resolving disputes in a calm and professional manner.
• Maintain accurate records of security-related activities, including incident reports, and shift logs.
• Handle exotic birds as may be expected from time to time.
• Answer phone calls and take messages as needed.
• Collaborate with other staff members, keeping them updated on shift activities.

• Excellent observational skills and situational awareness to identify potential security threats and take proactive measures to mitigate risks.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey security-related information and instructions to guests, staff, and external partners.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, particularly during emergency situations or high-stress incidents.
• Proficiency in phone etiquette and handling phone systems.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in guest registration and billing information.
• Bilingual skills to assist both English and Spanish speaking guests.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
