Form of workVCA Kaneohe Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced (3-5 years minimum) Credentialed Technician, to join our team!
We are specifically looking for Full-Time Overnight support; Shifts we are looking to cover are:
- Thursday night into Friday
- Friday night into Saturday
- Saturday night into Sunday
- Sunday night into Monday
This role will fulfill a forty (40) hour work week on days that are based on the needs of the hospital; as listed above.
This position pays $25.00 - $27.00 per hour, dependent on experience, education, certification, etc.

Emphasis on team approach to client service between receptionist, technical and veterinary staff. Compassionate care for all patients is a must. In this position you will be supporting our Doctors by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients during their care overnight and post operatively. Duties will include but are not limited to:
· Lab sample collection and processing
· Medication preparation and administration overnight
· Radiology and diagnostics - if needed
· Venipuncture and catheter placement
· Post surgical care
· PostDentistry care
· Computer data entry and maintaining electronic medical records·
· Fear Free Patient handling and restraint for peer Veterinary Assistants, Registered Technicians and Doctors
· Filling prescriptions
· Rounding doctors on overnight patients into the morning
· Anesthesia Experience
· Dentistry Experience
· Catheter placement
· Urgent Care Experience
