Our Open Opportunit y

The Overnight Bell Attendant is an essential member of the Front Office team which is dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests.

We are looking for individuals who possess a high level of attention to detail and a strong work ethic. The ability to multitask and prioritize is also essential for this position.

The Overnight Bell Attendant will genuinely welcome all guests and ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, professional, gracious service at all times while complying with all Four Seasons policies as stated in Empact.

Responsibilities

  • Be able to provide directions to all hotel and 900 N. building inquires and provide guests and patrons simple directions and best entrances to arrive into the building based on desired location of the guest or patron.
  • Greets guests and escorts them to their rooms. Delivers luggage to room upon check-in, picks up luggage from room upon departure, moving the luggage to storage or the front drive. Maintains proper records of deliveries and pick-ups.
  • Provides a high level of cleanliness in the lobby, public areas and luggage storage room, including clearing floor landings of supplies and other items.
  • Manage bellman storage area: ensure all guest luggage and personal items are securely stored and accurately organized to ensure an y item can be quickly identified and delivered to guests by any hotel employee or manager. At the end of each shift, ensure all stored luggage is accounted for and accurately communicated to the next bellman.
  • Retain extensive knowledge of the surrounding area including Gold Coast, River North and South L oop to give guests simple directions and recommendations for landmarks, restaurants and other places of note in the city.
  • Follow all PCI guidelines and handle guest personal information securely.
  • Listen to guest complaints and handle those complaints graciously while actively and creatively finding solutions for the guests. Ability to identify when unable to assist guest and communicate with management in a timely manner to ensure the guest complaint can be addressed as soon as possible.
  • Communicate with all departments as needed over multiple platforms including Teams, HotSOS , Vocerra , radio and in person to ensure all specific requests and demands are met quickly and accurately.
  • Recite hours of operation of all hotel facilities and special services.

Successful candidates will be a willing team player, comfortable with electronic systems and willing to accept assignments on as need basis, in order to promote teamwork. Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Candidate must be fluent in English, both verbal and written.
  • Must possess basic computational ability.
  • Responsive to constructive feedback from hotel leadership.
  • Service Passion for Luxury Hospitality
