SalaryShalom and Aloha! We will be opening a 2nd location Summer 2024 so we're looking to hire more overnight bakers/hot Food Prep. Main duties include:
Boiling and baking large batches of bagels
Baking a variety of pastries
Cooking hot food items on stove and oven
Packing bagels, bialys, and breakfast into containers to prep for transport
Cleaning machinery and washing a large amount of dishes
Cutting vegetables for schmears and bagel sandwiches as needed
Prepping schmears as needed
Fill cooler with schmears and veggies to prep for transport
Sweep, mop, return dishes and equipment to designated areas
Must be able to:
Lift at least 50lbs, crouch, stoop, bend, constantly be on feet, do repetitive motion with hands and arms, pay attention to detail, work in a fast-paced environment, be quick and efficient, multi-task, work in hot/cold environments, follow recipes precisely, identify doneness of baked goods and adjust times accordingly, work in a shared commercial kitchen space. Baking and kitchen prep experience a plus!
Tuesday-Saturday shifts available. Shifts between 10:30pm-5:30am.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
