Over The Road Truck Driver

CDL Class A or B. No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years. We pay NV workers compensation 1099 subcontractor. Direct deposit every friday for previous weeks work. Pay is $1500-2000 per week. Monday through Friday, out of town 2 or 3 nights. There are 5 main routes. Seattle, Salt Lake City, Phoenix, LA, San Diego, and Northern California. They are all dedicated (FEDEX)with round trip pay $0.64 per mile and $10 per stop. A typical route of 1000 miles might have 6-8 stops at hospitals and diagnostic centers. Quick in and out. Drivers will complete 2-3 routes a week.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and drive various types of trucks, including, straight truck, tractor-trailers, and refrigerated trucks
- Transport freight over long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
- Plan and execute efficient routes to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition
- Load and unload cargo using pallet jack or other equipment as needed
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members

Experience:
- Proficient in driving various types of trucks, including those with manual transmissions
- Experience with route driving and navigating through different terrains and weather conditions

Skills:
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with appropriate endorsements for the type of truck being operated
- Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements
- Ability to handle long hours on the Road and maintain focus and alertness
- Good communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and fellow drivers
