Job Summary: The sales representative’s primary responsibility is to sell fiber optic Internet, TV, and phone services to new residential customers for Empire Access. The sales representative will be assigned sales territory and be responsible for prospecting new leads. Empire Access operates a state-of-the-art fiber optic network delivering award-winning Internet speeds.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prospecting and Lead Generation:

• Identify and target potential clients through market research and networking.
• Generate new leads through cold calling, email campaigns, and attending industry events.

2. Client Relationship Building:

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their communication needs.
• Conduct meetings and presentations to showcase our telephone and fiber optic solutions.

3. Sales Presentations and Demonstrations:

• Develop a deep understanding of our products and services to effectively communicate their benefits to clients.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and advantages of our offerings.

4. Proposal Development and Negotiation:

• Prepare and present proposals to clients, outlining customized solutions based on their requirements.
• Negotiate terms and close sales deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

5. Market Intelligence:

• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
• Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams to enhance our products and services.

Requirements:

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Ability to travel as needed with a satisfactory driver’s license.

Education and Experience:

• 3-5 years of sales experience.
• Proven experience as an Outside Sales Representative or in a similar sales role.
• Knowledge of telephone and fiber optic products and services is a plus.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to walk through selected neighborhoods, calling door to door, engaging with potential customers.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Pay Range: $75,000 $90,000 per year depending on experience.
