We are seeking a talented and driven Outside Sales Representative (OSR) based in Houston, Texas and servicing Houston, Austin, San Antonio and Southern Louisianna. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and growing our existing client base, seeking and developing new clients and partnerships, and will have a proven track record working remotely. This position will work closely with our inside sales team and collaborate with other Outside Sales Reps in a team-based environment. This position will report to our Sales Manager.
Responsibilities for Outside Sales Representative
- Sell all company products and services
- Identify and establish contact with potential customers
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers
- Conduct follow-up activities to ensure customer satisfaction
- Ability to travel throughout Texas including Houston, Austin and San Antonio, as well as Southern Louisiana for customer meetings
- Travel to our corporate headquarters, located in Carrollton, Texas, will be required in the beginning for onboarding and training, and then once per month for face-to-face meetings with Leadership Team
- Participate in marketing events and trade shows
- Schedule and perform product demonstrations with potential customers
- Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales
- Recommend marketing strategies to target a specific region or demographic
- Maintain records of all communications and activities with customer relationship management (CRM) tool and submit sales reports
- Maintain a professional company image at all times
Qualifications for Outside Sales Representative
- Proven experience as a SALES REPRESENTATIVE in the window and door industry preferred
- Organized, high energy, self-starter, and highly motivated to sell
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, i.e., Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Word
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Great persuasive and negotiation skills
- Good interpersonal and presentation skills
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred
