JOB SUMMARY
An Outside Sales Representative conducts field sales in designated territories (may include international) via face-to-face interactions with both potential and existing customers. They are responsible for offering the best possible customer experience and providing hands-on explanations of any new or updated products when necessary.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for driving revenue in assigned territory.
- An Outside Sales Representative must spend more than 50% of their working time outside the office selling or obtaining orders for goods or services.
- Responsible for identifying prospective clients, presenting a differentiated solution, and utilizing the CRM system for tracking sales activity, pipeline management, and sales quotes.
- Assist other team members as needed.
- Deliver equipment sold in your territory, start up, and review proper safety, operation, adjustments, & maintenance with your customers and their operators.
- Responsible for continual customer relations and follow-up in your territory and logging sales activity CRM system.
- Responsible for demonstrations in your territory and assisting dealers as needed.
- Accountable for yearly sales forecast for your territory.
- Provide the Sales Director and/or VP of Sales with customer feedback regarding product performance and/or new product ideas.
- Responsible for participating in various equipment shows.
- Setting up equipment demonstrations before harvest and conducting demonstrations in the field
- Responsible for factory tours & special events.
- Other duties as assigned.
