Who you are....
As an Outside Sales Representative, you are responsible for managing the sales of L. B. Foster precast utility products in a specified geographic territory in the Knoxville, TN area. This includes developing new prospects and interacting with existing customers to increase sales of our utility products to meet or exceed the annual operating plan.
This Position
- Generate sales and revenue while building long term relationships with new and existing accounts.
- Coordinate customer relationships from initial prospecting through entire sales process.
- Create strategies using market information and customer feedback to advance corporate business objectives.
- Respond to customer questions regarding products, prices, availability, product uses and credit terms.
- Negotiate and close terms of sale.
- Establish and maintain visibility of LB Foster precast utility products within the engineering and contractor communities.
- Effectively communicate with all internal customers, specifically engineering, estimators and project management.
- All other duties as assigned.
What Do You Need
- High school diploma/GED required,
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or Sales preferred.
- 6 years of sales experience required.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to travel up to 75% or as required by manager.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient math skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Suite skills
- Experience with a customer relationship management (CRM) system
