As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business and building strong relationships with clients. Duties:
- Sales experience: Candidates should have previous experience in sales, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating leads. Experience in selling BIM/CAD services or related technical solutions would be advantageous.
- BIM knowledge: Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) concepts, software, and the benefits it offers in the construction industry is essential. This knowledge will help in effectively communicating with clients and promoting BIM/CAD services.
- Communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary for building relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and presenting BIM solutions. The ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and concise manner is important.
- Office administration skills: Proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is important for tasks like creating reports, managing spreadsheets, and preparing presentations. Candidates should also have good organizational skills to handle administrative tasks, maintain files, and coordinate schedules.
- Customer service orientation: A customer-focused mindset is crucial in this role. Candidates should be able to understand and address client needs, provide excellent customer service, and build long-term relationships.
- Networking abilities: Building a network of contacts in the construction industry is valuable for generating leads and expanding the client base. Candidates should have strong networking and relationship-building skills.
