Outside Sales Representative

The Outside Sales Representative is for leveraging ePac’s tools to secure and close sales bookings from customers in their assigned territories.  The goal for the Outside Sales Representative is to learn the ePac business model, become an expert in the use of sales tools and resources provided, and utilize this knowledge to help ePac meet sales objectives.  Working within a team, the Outside Sales Representative will partner with Regional Sales Executives, and Marketing to increase ePac’s market share.  Will leverage various referral channels and partnerships to educate potential customers on our services, and provide consultative solutions to increase market share and drive revenue.  Serves as a trusted partner by customers to guide them through the purchasing and manufacturing process to ensure delivery deadlines are met.  
 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Utilizing provided training material, sales tools, and other resources provided, contact and engage with potential customers to explain ePac’s value proposition with the goal of closing a customer sale.
• Develop, practice, and deliver an effective sales presentation consistent with company training.
• Transition leads to prospective customers and consistently follows up with customers who are considering purchasing from ePac.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with the community (e.g., impromptu visits with local businesses, networking, community event participation).
• Responsible for managing the day to day of an existing set of customers.
• Handles lead generation on a local level, with support from the assigned regional sales and operations teams.
• Acquiring new customers and accounts by cold calling and prospecting. Once acquired, ability to manage and maintain those accounts.

• Create, manage, and advance accounts, leads, and opportunities in the company's CRM system (Salesforce) and provide accurate sales activity and forecasts.
