Outside Sales Representative

Join our team as an Outside Sales Representative for a rapidly expanding Waste Management Company! In this role, you'll employ a consultative sales approach, targeting small and/or less complex commercial accounts in your designated territory/segment. Your primary responsibilities will include prospecting, closing deals, and achieving sales revenue goals through strategic selling techniques.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Utilize consultative sales techniques to promote Construction and Solid Waste services to targeted commercial accounts.
  • Conduct cold calls to secure appointments and deliver compelling sales presentations.
  • Conduct pre-sales activities to understand customer needs and tailor selling strategies accordingly.
  • Utilize sales productivity software tools effectively to streamline the sales process.
  • Match services to customer needs, demonstrating industry knowledge and awareness of competitive pricing.
  • Provide recommendations on equipment optimization and leasing options based on thorough understanding of the industry and company offerings.
  • Negotiate and close sales agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Complete post-sale administrative tasks to facilitate smooth product/service implementation.
  • Maintain a 100% travel commitment.

Compensation:


  • Base salary between $40,000 to $55,000, depending on experience.
  • A generous commission plan.

Requirements:


  • Hybrid work model.
  • Prefer candidates with 2 years of sales experience in the Waste Management industry.
