Employbridge Search Group has a client that is looking for an Outside Sales Rep in Phoenix, Arizona to join their team! This is an exciting opportunity with competitive salary, benefits, and room for growth.
Job Duties
- Sales, business development, and marketing with the food service division that is serving distributors, restaurants, hotels, clubs, and entertainment venues.
- Participating in customer acquisition, sampling, education, product demonstrations, and supporting distributor sales teams.
- Prospecting and cold-calling potential clients, assessing their suitability for our offerings, working through onboarding, and ensuring ongoing orders.
- Provide responsive communication to inquiries from distributors, brokers, and end-users. Offer product information, samples, and in-person product demonstrations.
- Create and submit reports as needed in a timely manner
- Maintain meticulous and detailed records, including notes, contact information, and daily work interactions.
- Connect with potential customers and building a rapport.
- Improve sales and overall business growth within assigned territory
- Present information to individuals and groups, demonstrating product use and educating customers and teams.
- Display willingness to learn about new product lines and actively promote and sell them.
- Capable of interacting with various levels of teams. From Directors and Managers to Distributors, Cooks, Purchasing, etc.
- Oversee and manage customer relationships, including end-users, distributors, and brokers.
- Stay up to date on the market, competitors, and share findings with the team.
- Identify and establish connections with new customer opportunities, opening qualified accounts.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred, but not required
- 3+ years of Outside Sales within the Food Service / Food Manufacturing Experience
- Proven customer service, negotiation, and sales skills
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas
- Excel at independent and efficient work.
- Exemplify trustworthiness and accountability.
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Utilize customer service and negotiation skills to close sales
- Travel approximately two weeks per month (minimum 50%) for customer visits, prospecting, training, and collaboration with distributors and brokers.
- Demonstrate self-motivation, trustworthiness, and accountability while working independently.
- Proficient at time management and managing multi-state territory
