Inside/Outside Sales Representative

The Inside/Outside Sales Representative (IOSR) encompasses elements of both Inside Sales as well as Outside Sales.  It is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining greater proficiency in the sales process and developing their sales and relationship building skills in front of customers. The role will be responsible for meeting or exceeding established corporate goals in regards to both Inside/Outside Sales, communication, accuracy and sales performance metrics. The Inside/Outside Sales Representative will contact and qualify prospective customers while offering world class service to current customers.

The successful IOSR candidate will be able to demonstrate good communication, sound organizational and multi-tasking abilities, excellent follow-up and strong attention to detail. Understanding of the sales process and basic business acumen are required.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

• Maintain and grow a portfolio of accounts with a focus on driving new business opportunities, capitalizing on current opportunities and identifying areas to improve account revenues.
• Make sales calls to both active and inactive accounts for the purposes of increasing market share and profitability.
• Create sound, achievable and measurable strategies for account development.
• Review and follow up on open quotations with customers.
• Respond and coordinate solutions to customer complaints and claims to ensure ongoing resolution and customer satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• General sales experience
• Prior phone sales and customer service experience required
• Motivation and problem solving skills
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Must be willing to relocate
