DescriptionAIMS Companies is currently searching for the right individual to fill an immediate need with a talented Outside Sales Representative.


The Outside Salesperson will work closely with the Inside Sales positions and the Team Manager to create, maintain, and grow business with new and existing customers. This position will also be responsible for prospecting and qualifying new customers, resulting in a tiered hierarchy of customers that will be qualified and added to a regimented schedule for contacting/visiting as appropriate. 

Location: Greater San Antonio/Austin area
 

Duties:
•    Visit prospective customers and qualify business opportunities
•    Input information into Salesforce regarding:
     o    New accounts
     o    New contacts
     o    New opportunities
     o    All correspondence with new and existing accounts
•    Research prospective customers
•    Prospect and qualify new customers
•    Facilitate a smooth transition of customer information and job opportunities with estimating and accounting departments.
•    Create professional proposals
•    Follow up on quotes submitted by Estimating.
•    Update Salesforce with pertinent bid tabulations and project status.
•    Organize weekly sales plan and schedule to accomplish 40+ touches per week.
•    Maintain pipeline 10X the budgeted revenue.
•    Cross sell company services where the market lends itself.
•    Provide content to Sales Manager for media blasts, email campaigns, and industry articles.
•    Work with Sales Manager to set up lunch and learn presentations, partnership opportunity meetings, etc.
•    Represent and market the company at trade shows, conferences, and other industry organization events.

  • Travel is required. Per Diem paid for all travel in addition to regular pay.
  • All applicants must have a clean driving record and must be 18+ years old.
  • A pre-employment drug test and background check is required.
  • High school diploma or GED required

 

Preferred qualifications include:

  • NASSCO MACP, PACP, And LACP Certification desired.
  • Industry Experience preferred.
  • Above-average customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision making ability.
  • Capable of working under time constraints to ensure critical deadlines are met.

 

Working Conditions:

This position is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions. 

 

Benefits:

Benefits are available to full-time employees (30 or more hours per week).

  • Medical, dental, vision, voluntary life insurance, and voluntary short-term and long term disability insurance after 60 days.
  • Holiday pay.
  • 40 hours vacation pay after 1 year; 80 hours after 2 years.
  • Sick pay according to state laws.
  • 401(k) with company match after 1 year.

* Per Diem is available to all employees regardless of employment classification (full-time, part-time, or temporary employees).

 

Travel:

Travel for this position is expected to be 60% per year. Overnight/multiple night travel will be required, including out-of-state travel. Per diem will be paid in addition to regular or overtime pay for travel.  

 

Additional Notes:

This position is subject to a 90 day probation period. At the end of 90 days a review will be conducted to evaluate performance.
