What you'll be doing...
You'll be managing all engineering, maintenance, and improvements to the Outside Plant Telephony Network, including structures, cables, and associated equipment. This critical role will coordinate with a variety of teams and have direct contact with business and residential customers. You'll work in diverse environments, both indoors and outdoors, to solve complex problems and implement innovative solutions to keep our customers happy.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island or Washington work location, the compensation range for this position is between $72,000.00 and $134,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.

What you'll be doing...
You'll be managing all engineering, maintenance, and improvements to the Outside Plant Telephony Network, including structures, cables, and associated equipment. This critical role will coordinate with a variety of teams and have direct contact with business and residential customers. You'll work in diverse environments, both indoors and outdoors, to solve complex problems and implement innovative solutions to keep our customers happy.
- Crafting additions, upgrades, repairs and improvements.
- Selecting and pricing solutions based on the most effective, efficient, and timely design.
- Coordinating with internal departments and liaising with residential and business end-users, building contractors, and property owners to implement solutions appropriately.
- Building winning outcomes for both us and our customers.
- Managing stakeholder expectations, facilitating internal and external communication sessions and relationships.
- Review and approve (NED, CORE & BAU) invoicing for financial, forecasting, variance reporting and analysis for the market.

You'll need to have:
- Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Three or more years of relevant work experience.
- Experience In validation that invoiced unit quantities align with construction activities in the field.
- Knowledge of Outside Plant Engineering in a telecommunications provider environment and fiber optic network construction experience.
- Able to processes written reports, QA audits, and other administrative duties.
- Detailed knowledge of construction work print interpretation and municipal permit application review required.
- Able to receive general instruction, otherwise performs independently with minimal supervision, exercising latitude to achieve daily objectives and approaches to critical/complex assignments.
- Must have and maintain a valid state driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Other duties as assigned

- Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical/science/mathematics fields.
- Experience with windows-based programs and corporate database systems.
- Experience with CAD, and MS Excel/MS Access.
- Working Knowledge in the following systems / platforms and or technologies including Cell Site Infrastructure: Cell Site Construction, SiteTracker, CANVAS, VPM and FUZE.
- Working knowledge of 3GIS, Google Earth or other industry standard geospatial applications. General computer application skills required (MSOffice applications, Adobe, GSuite, etc.).
