The position is can be near Riverdale, CA / Dixon, CA / Cantua Creek, CA.
Pay: $20 an hour
Short term- 2-3 days project
5-8 hours per day starting around 9 am ending around 3-4 pm PST. Water and mobile restrooms provided.
Job Description:
What: We capture field, obstacle, and human data with Gators equipped with lights and cameras to simulate tractors operating in farm environments.
Why: To collect safety training data for machine learning models.
Dress Code: Individuals should wear closed toed shoes and long pants as they will be walking outside and in potentially rough terrain. It is recommended that they review the weather conditions prior to the working day and plan accordingly with any jackets, vests, hats, etc.
Additional safety equipment and data collection apparel will be provided as needed. (Flashlights, Snake guards, data collection clothing, etc.
Job Description: Take direction based on cue cards to pose in specific positions while the data capture UTV drives past at various angles. The workers would need to sign the provided photo release form and review any safety instructions provided by the BRT field team members. This position does not require any machine operation to be performed by this individual. All work will be performed in agricultural fields.
Inclement weather could affect hours and schedules
100% of the work is performed outside. Excluding during inclement weather.
Locations will be in crop fields. Nearest restrooms will most likely be a service station or fast-food restaurant nearby.
