Cedarhurst, a regional healthcare provider and true friend of older adults, seeks a service-minded, career-oriented individual to join our team as a full-timeOutreach Liaison.

As an Outreach Liaison, you will have to opportunity to connect with, and positively impact the lives of, our residents daily! The Outreach Liaison is responsible for promoting Cedarhurst’s mission of serving elders. In addition, the Outreach Liaison is responsible for working in conjunction with community sales & marketing team to meet and exceed all occupancy goals by participating in development and implementation of the community marketing and outreach plan, which includes establishing and maintaining relationships with referral sources and strategic partners within the region(s) assigned. You will seek to increase awareness of Cedarhurst Senior Living and our mission to create communities where each person feels loved, valued, supported, and able to live life to the fullest.

As an Outreach Liaison, you will impact the lives of our residents by

  • Strategize with Sales & Marketing Management and Community Leadership Team, to develop creative programs to identify and connect with key referral sources and other strategic partners within the designated region and identify ways to maintain and nurture those relationships on a consistent basis.
  • Participate in establishing goals and objectives to increase lead generation and build census resulting from effective referral development within designated region and assigned territory.
  • Develop programs, seminar and educational workshops addressing identified needs of the local community within designated region and assigned territory.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with various stakeholder groups, to create buy-in for the shared vision of caring for elders, which includes collaborative programming with community organizations within the region to plan and develop education programs
  • Assist in creating and then monitoring the outreach budget and according to the needs of the communities within the region
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of strategic prospect events and presentations to promote awareness and drive traffic
  • Enter and maintain documentation within applicable sales and marketing systems and compose required reports
  • Other duties as assigned

To become an Outreach Liaison, you will need –

  • Bachelor’s Degree in social work, gerontology, health care management, communications, or related fields is a plus OR 4-6 years related experience
  • Two (2) years of community outreach, business development, sales and marketing experience with actual on-site experience in an Assisted Living or Memory Care community is a plus
  • Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times with the ability to effectively perform conflict intervention and resolution
  • Ability to work well with others and take direction from management, as well as take initiative – willing to go above and beyond to ensure the needs of the organization are met in accordance with the Company’s core values
  • Passion to achieve results through self-motivation, initiative and proactive orientation with a sense of professional curiosity, desire to learn new things and to find / recommend solutions to problems
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure, meet deadlines and communicate in a clear, accurate, efficient and professional manner in written and verbal communications, as well as possess strong presentation skills
  • Must exhibit and promote a high level of integrity, customer service, hospitality, curiosity and friendliness towards all residents, visitors, employees and the overall organization
