Job description

Per diem, day/evening shifts including some weekends.

Main Function:

  • Assists in the nonprofessional and clerical aspects of managing and operating the outpatient functions of the department.
  • All medication-associated duties are performed under the direct supervision of licensed personnel (Registered Pharmacists).

Required Job Specific Competencies:

  • Demonstrates skill in daily communication including effectively gathering and disseminating information.
  • Demonstrates flexibility in decision-making and prioritizing assignments.
  • Demonstrates skill on proactively resolving problems, recommending, and implementing continuous quality improvements.
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of the Information Systems (Pharmacy) and QS/1 (pharmacy outpatient system), as well as the ability to work proficiently in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Provides customer service and support in a manner consistent with the health system’s goals and expectations Demonstrates and lives the CARES values at all times.

Qualifications:

  • High School education or equivalency required.
  • Associate Degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years of inventory management or pharmacy experience.
  • Demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Pay Range: $16.50 - $21.00

Starting Pay: Based on Experience
