Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Explain therapist’s role and client rights and responsibilities, including confidentiality and mandated reporting;
- Complete a diagnostic assessment on all clients referred, gathering information from a referral source, client chart and other pertinent sources, including family members and past providers of care; Assessment will be done as needed; however, therapist is required to complete updated assessment on clients who are on current caseload;
- Determine DSM-5 diagnosis;
- Complete treatment plan which is done every six months or as needed;
- Provide individual and family therapy;
- Document all contacts, referrals, and other necessary information;
- Maintain a caseload of 25 clients a week
- Apply crisis management skills when necessary to stabilize clients;
- Participate in monthly case reviews of clients in peer-group supervision;
- Identify and participate in other training or committees that can further enhance professional growth;

Education and/or Experience – This position requires a master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling,
Work Environment – Mostly in a typical office and/or home setting with quiet to moderate noise level.
Therapist will report directly to the Clinical Manager a LICSW/LPC
