Job Description
SUMMARY
A person in this position functions under the working title of Outpatient Therapist Lead. Assignments are varied in nature and are performed under the direct supervision of the Outpatient Regional Director or Site Supervisor. This position is located in Mifflintown, PA in Juniata County.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Abides by all current Behavioral Health Services and Outpatient policies and procedures as set forth by the agency and documents all required aspects of job duties.
Maintains compliance with state and local regulations as well as standards of practice.
Provides ongoing training and coaching to associate therapists
Assists in training new hires.
Works with the treatment team to provide appropriate coordinated care services to clients and their families.
Applies psychological principles, methodology, and techniques to plan treatment and modify behavior and participates in a multi-disciplinary team meeting while providing individual, group, and family psychotherapy from Intake through discharge; provides community linkages as required.
Participates in staff development, in-service training sessions, supervision, and Performance Quality Improvement initiatives and performs related work as required.
Performs related work as required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible for clinical supervision of psychotherapists.
TRAVEL
This position requires 10% occasional travel.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Masters degree in psychology, sociology, social work, or related field.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Masters degree in psychology, sociology, social work, or related field with a minimum of 5 years clinical experience.
Professional licensure preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
PA Drivers license required
Professional licensure a plus
