What are the must haves (aka minimum requirements):

• Current and valid NP or PA licensure in Illinois
• Access to insured reliable transportation
• 6 months of prior NP or PA work experience
• 1 year of Cardiology experience

Tell me about the job duties (aka key responsibilities but not all encompassing):

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, exploring medical history and performing cardiac testing.
• Diagnose and treat a variety of cardiac conditions, from hypertension to coronary artery disease.
• Create tailored care plans based on individual cardiac needs and comorbidities.
• Order, perform, and interpret cardiac tests and imaging studies like ECGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests.
• Prescribe and manage medications for cardiac conditions, ensuring precise dosages and monitoring.
• Educate patients and families on heart health, lifestyle modifications, and effective medication management.
• Collaborate seamlessly with cardiology specialists, physicians, and healthcare professionals for holistic care.
• Provide timely follow-up care, monitoring treatment effectiveness and adjusting as needed.
• Stay updated on the latest cardiology advances through continuous education and professional development.
• Extend expert care to Senior Care Communities as required
