What are the must haves (aka minimum requirements):
- Current and valid NP or PA licensure in Illinois
- Access to insured reliable transportation
- 6 months of prior NP or PA work experience
- 1 year of Cardiology experience
Tell me about the job duties (aka key responsibilities but not all encompassing):
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, exploring medical history and performing cardiac testing.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of cardiac conditions, from hypertension to coronary artery disease.
- Create tailored care plans based on individual cardiac needs and comorbidities.
- Order, perform, and interpret cardiac tests and imaging studies like ECGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests.
- Prescribe and manage medications for cardiac conditions, ensuring precise dosages and monitoring.
- Educate patients and families on heart health, lifestyle modifications, and effective medication management.
- Collaborate seamlessly with cardiology specialists, physicians, and healthcare professionals for holistic care.
- Provide timely follow-up care, monitoring treatment effectiveness and adjusting as needed.
- Stay updated on the latest cardiology advances through continuous education and professional development.
- Extend expert care to Senior Care Communities as required
