We are seeking candidates for an Outpatient Addiction Treatment Counselor for our Intensive Outpatient level of care. This position involves carrying a caseload and facilitating 3 groups each week plus individual sessions with your clients. Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists in the development, coordination, and evaluation of the treatment program.
  • Conducts individual, family, and group sessions consistent with treatment plans.
  • Provides clients and families with referral resources for the services not provided by this agency or when this agency’s services are not appropriate.
  • Maintains timely and accurate documentation reflective of client treatment plans and progress.

Education and Experience Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree required, preferably in social or behavioral sciences or related field. Associates degree and 3+ years of experience as a substance use or gambling treatment counselor may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.

Schedule:

  • Type: Full-time
  • Hours: 40+ hours each week
    • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday (12:00 pm to 8:00 pm)
    • Wednesday, Friday (9 am to 5 pm)
