Description of Work
The Support Specialist is responsible for assisting the professional staff in the daily operation of the Outdoor Adventures Center. Supervises student staff and is the main point of contact for patron information. Responsible for facility reservations to include customer contact, setup/take down and equipment requests. Troubleshoots facility/maintenance/technology issues and has oversight for the equipment rental check in and bike shop transactions.

Minimum Required Qualifications
Relevant coursework, or specialized training beyond high school; equivalent experience considered. Technology proficiency in Microsoft Office with the ability to learn Filemaker Pro, Whentowork, RecTrac/FinTrac software or other recreation management software. Minimum 2 years required Customer Service experience. Previous supervisory experience as well as a valid Nebraska driver's license or ability to obtain within first month of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in recreation, business, psychology, sociology, environmental studies, leadership, communication studies, sport management, or relevant education area. CPR/First Aid Instructor certification preferred or the ability to attain within 6 months of employment.
