Outboard Shop Manager

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Identify customer’s needs, gathers pertinent information, provides quotes, prepares repair plans and provides status updates to customers on repair work.
• Manage technicians by assigning jobs, determining job priorities with the Service Writer(s). Seeing that quality work is completed as economical as possible and in a timely manner, in accordance with customer needs and company schedules and profit goals.
• Be primary follow-up contact with repair/service customers
• Perform lead mechanic function
• Assure proper diagnosis is done before repair work starts.
• Ensure part sare ordered in a timely manner in order to assure that they are available when the work needs to be done.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to effectively communicate in a positive and professional manner.
• Prior experience in service & repair, or warranty related field preferred.
• Excellent computer skills using multiple software platforms.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

College Graduate (Preferred)

Valid Driver’s License

HOURS AND COMPENSATION:

• Full time position (40hrs per week 8am-4:30pm Monday – Friday). Overtime possible.
• Hourly compensation based on experience plus Monthly Team Incentive bonus.
