Lunchroom/Playground Assistant: Level I Secretarial/Clerical Union $19.32 per hour
(Hourly rates of pay dictated by Union Contract, currently under negotiation)

Candidates will be reviewed upon submission with selection starting no sooner than five days following the posting. The position will remain open until a suitable candidate has been found.
Work Week:
This position includes midday Lunchroom/Playground supervision and afternoon hours in the Extended Day program at an assigned school. This position will be at least 6 hours per day, with shift times approximately 10:30 am - 4:30 pm and qualifies for full-time employee status benefits in addition to benefits listed in the Extended Day Union agreement found here. Lunchroom/Playground Assistant hours (2-3 hours/day) will only be on school year student contact days. Extended Day hours (3 hours/day) will be on a 12 month contracted schedule. Final shift time based on building assignment. For interested staff, there may be additional hours available during morning programming, on non school days, and over the summer.

Position Summary:
We are currently seeking energetic and passionate candidates to work with elementary students in multiple buildings. These positions will primarily focus on relationship building and student supervision during lunch and recess plus lead activities in our after school program. Qualified candidates would have an interest in serving and supporting youth with diverse interests, talents, perspectives and learning styles. This position will go outside daily. Work is performed under the moderate supervision of the Out of School Time Site Supervisor and Building Principal. Building assignments subject to change based on school and program needs.
Education and /or Experience:
High school diploma or GED and minimal experience working with youth.
Special Requirements:
Certified in CPR/First Aid within 90 days of hire
Must be at least 18 years of age
