A family-owned Industrial Manufacturing Company is looking for a Truck Driver to join their team. As a Truck Driver, you will be driving diesel-powered tractor-trailer combinations, usually long distances, to transport and deliver manufactured products.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect truck equipment and supplies before and after trips, submit reports indicating conditions.
- Inspect loads to ensure it is secure before leaving the yard.
- Maintain driver log according to state and federal regulations.
- Communicate with Transportation Department Daily, call when arriving and leaving destinations.
- Ensure safe operating procedures are being followed at all times.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- CDL with air brakes and clean driving record required.
- Previous over-the-road driving experience preferred.
- Ability to accurately complete required company paperwork and driver log books.th
- Ability to professionally communicate with customers, employees, and management.
- Serve as a positive example to other employees through proper compliance of company policies.
