**Position: Occupational Therapy Technician**
**Job Summary:**
As an Occupational Therapy Technician at Infante Hand and Rehabilitation Specialists, you will be an integral part of our mission to empower patients in their journey towards improved hand function and overall well-being. You will work closely with our experienced Occupational Therapists to assist in delivering exceptional therapeutic services and ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients. **Key Responsibilities:**
- Collaborate with licensed Occupational Therapists to implement customized treatment plans for patients.
- Prepare treatment areas and maintain therapeutic equipment to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
- Support and guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities with compassion and empathy.
- Observe and document patient progress during therapy sessions, providing valuable feedback to the Occupational Therapists.
- Assist in educating patients and their families about at-home exercises and strategies to support ongoing therapy goals.
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress and contribute to treatment plan adjustments.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; kenisology or exercise science degree preferred but not required, additional certifications in healthcare or related fields are a plus
- Previous experience in a healthcare or rehabilitative setting, , particularly in occupational therapy, is highly desirable.
- A genuine passion for helping patients and a patient-centric approach to care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients and the therapy team.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying patient needs and the dynamic clinic environment.
