OT/ COTA - 23/24 | Bedford, IN

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in Bedford, Indiana. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy practice, with experience working in a variety of settings. They will be responsible for providing comprehensive occupational therapy services to patients of all ages, with a focus on improving their functional abilities and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to assess patients' functional abilities and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' specific goals and challenges.
• Provide a variety of occupational therapy interventions,including activities of daily living (ADLs),sensory integration,and neuromuscular retraining.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions and the benefits of occupational therapy.
• Document patient progress and communicate with other members of the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with physicians,nurses,and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care for patients.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current license to practice occupational therapy in the state of Indiana.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an occupational therapist.
• Experience working in a variety of settings,including acute care,inpatient rehabilitation,and home health.
• Strong knowledge of occupational therapy theory and practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate and patient attitude.
