Job Description:

The School of Health Sciences seeks qualified candidates for the position of Assistant Professor with Assistant Academic Fieldwork Coordinator (AFWC) administrative responsibilities in the online MSOT Program. Russell Sage College offers an established ACOTE-accredited Master of Science degree and entry-level OT Doctorate with dynamic faculty and students. This position may be a full or part-time 10-month appointment with teaching, service and scholarship responsibilities. The Assistant AFWC supports the AFWC in coordinating, facilitating, managing and monitoring fieldwork placements on behalf of the online MSOT academic program and in coordination with academic and fieldwork faculty.

The OT Program is an innovative program with a 100 % NBCOT pass rate and graduate employment over the past six years. The College has an exciting initiative - thrive@Russell Sage - that threads health and wellness across the Sage community and curriculum.

The estimated base academic year salary for this position is $60,000, commensurate with experience.


 


Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a doctoral degree in a health science-related field (PhD, EdD, OTD, DSc) and teaching experience in the areas of, mental health, physical rehabilitation or pediatrics. OT applicants must be eligible for NYS licensure.
