Ot Aide/Reception-Pediatric Occupational Therapy Clinic

Blossom Therapeutics is an outpatient practice of occupational therapists specializing in intervention that supports each unique child and their family.

Blossom is a growing business, looking for a part-time OT Aide/Reception support assist occupational therapists in their tasks, check in clients, take payments and general clinic upkeep. This job includes initial contact with new clients, scheduling clients, client outreach, and maintaining a collaborative relationship with referral sources.

Duties and Responsibilities of the OT Aide are to work closely with the team to assure that all the business aspects of the practice are functioning in an orderly and proficient manner. Our ideal candidate has comfort and experience working with families to complete paperwork, respond to daily correspondence via phone calls, emails, and social media, and efficient scheduling.

This position will work approximately 20 hours per week depending on skills and workload.

Required Education and Experience

· High school diploma.

· Three years of administrative or coordinator experience.

· Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.

· Customer service experience and ability to multi-task.

· Insurance billing knowledge.

· Social media knowledge.

· Patient scheduling for multiple providers.

· Able to take direction from multiple sources and prioritize work accordingly.

· Proficient in MS Office.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Education and Experience

· Bilingual in Spanish

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
