OT Aide / Clinical Admin

You are the right person if you enjoy being face-to-face with people and can handle yourself with professionalism and compassion. Many of our patients/clients are in pain and need the right type of person, who does NOT take things personally, and that can be understanding yet firm. We are looking for a OT AIDE / CLINICAL ADMIN for our Occupational Therapy Clinic and The Spa Retreat, where you’ll be trained to work with an Occupational Therapist in assisting with patient or client care... You'll receive hands-on training and will work directly with patients/clients of all ages so you must be confident with great people skills. You will also learn the front desk or administrative part so confidence is a must. Receptionist or administrative assistant with strong fast-paced customer service work. Possibility of full time hire eventually (at least 20 hrs/week, a possibility of more, and you must have a flexible schedule). Must love a strong challenge. Must be PROFESSIONAL. Must be extremely organized. Must be able to multitask quickly and think off your feet! Spanish speaking is a plus! THIS JOB IS NOT FOR EVERYONE but the right person will LOVE it! Other:

• Facilitate rehabilitation of patients with emotional, physical or mental disabilities
• Monitor and assess patient rehabilitative programs
• Convey treatment results and patient progress to relevant parties
• Organize and update patient records
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment
• Knowledge or experience is a plus.
• Basic EXERCISE and/or fitness knowledge preferred but not required.

COLLEGE DEGREE PREFERRED but not required if extremely professional, tactful, and smart. Great candidates are those who have worked in a fast-paced environment before. ONLY VERY SERIOUS and very confident people should apply.
