Job Description
A Project Manager is responsible for the coordination and management of fiber-optic network projects. This position works closely with engineering, logistics, GIS coordinators, outside vendors, and city officials.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Operate as the primary point of contact for the customer and subcontractors
- Act as a liaison between architects, engineers, vendors, property staff, and contractors as needed
- Effectively communicate via phone, cell phone, text message, and email to Sub-Contractors, Pavlov Media Supervisors/Executives, and Customers
- Maintain accuracy of project status within pipeline
- Schedule and coordinate all project kickoff meetings with stakeholders
- Generate, review, and approve purchase orders
- Generate standardized project documents required to communicate progress both internally and externally
- Review invoices for accuracy
- Review pay requests to ensure that the amount requested for payment is commensurate with the percentage of project completion
- Generate the financial budget for any given project and be able to identify/justify this financial metric with the use of Engineering specifications and work-ups
- Prepare status reports, update financial reporting tools, and inform all stakeholders of project progress during the deployment
- Generate, track, and control “Change Orders” via standardized forms and reporting methods
- Capture all project deliverables in project management software
- Understand the onsite tasks for all construction build out phases

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS AND POSITIVES:
- Bachelor’s Degree – Minimum of 4 years college education or equivalent work experience
- Desired Majors include: Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Engineering, Accounting, Finance or Human Resources
- Formal Project Management Experience/Training
- PMP Certification: “Project Management Professional” certification provided by the Project Management Institute – possession or desire to achieve this certification a plus
- Experience with: MS Project Professional, MS Word, MS Excel, MS CRM, MS Visio, MS Outlook
- Ability to travel required
