Qualifications
•Education and Formal Training: High school diploma or GED and/or two (2) years of experience in a clinical environment, or graduation from an Associate Degree program for Medical Assistants required
Work Experience
•Experience working in an orthopedic clinic preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
•Demonstrates a high level of mental and emotional tolerance and even temperament when dealing with ill people; uses tact, sensitivity, sound judgement, and a professional attitude when relating with patients, families, and co-workers at all times
•Knowledge of examination, diagnostic and treatment room procedures
•Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care
•Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment
