We are looking for an Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner to join our inpatient team in Glen Burnie, MD.
Orthopedic Nurse Practitioners providers will:
- Daily rounding for primary orthopedic patients
- Emergency Department consultations: evaluate, order labs and other studies as needed, aspirate joints, fracture reductions and splinting/casting
- Osteoporosis liaison: identify patients with fragility fracture, initiate bone health evaluations and refer to osteoporosis clinic for follow up care.
- Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons.
- 8 hour shifts, one day per week
- No call coverage, weekend or after hours.

- Master of Science degree with completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner required.
- Board Certification Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
- Ideal candidate will have proven experience working with orthopedic patients as an NP.
- New Graduates are welcome to apply, must be able to commit to two full weeks of orientation and training.
- Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner required.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse required.
- Current NRP and PALS certifications
- DEA and CDS eligible.
