Schedule, change or cancel appointments as necessary Accurately note all patient information according to confidentiality standards and HIPAA requirements Route calls to the appropriate department or individual Medical Scheduler Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or GED certificate Knowledge of common medical terminology Prior receptionist experience, ideally in a medical clinic environment Bilingualism (English/Spanish) a strong plus Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette
Responsibilities: Scheduler, or Patient Scheduler arranges appointments between patients and Physicians in a medical facility
DUTIES: Answer patient calls, field questions, and assist patients in making new medical appointment, computer knowledge a must.
