Organic Weed Control Crew And Crew Leaders (Landscape Technicians)

WANTED - We need 10 fit, outdoorsy, crew members to help us treat weeds organically in the Teton Valley and Jackson Hole areas. Come work 4 days a week for the 3- month summer season and earn up to $8,000.

We are hiring Crew ($15.5/hr.) to do Organic Weed Control. You will learn plant identification skills, how to organically remove noxious weeds. No experience is needed; we will train the right applicant. We are based our of Driggs, ID. Past crews have organized carpools from Rexburg to Driggs. We also offer a fuel stipend to help with transportation cost.

Schedule: The workday will start at 7 am and will normally be between 8-10 hours long, on average 9 hrs./day. The work week will be approximately 35-42 hours/week (on average 37 hrs.), some weeks extra work may be available and could result in overtime pay. The field season will run from May 20th to approximately August 22th. Our work week is Monday – Thursday.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Dependable, flexible, good attitude, and ready to learn.
• Ability to work independently and on a team.
• Able to perform manual labor for 8 consecutive hours (i.e., lifting 50lbs, carrying a up to 40lb pack).
• Work long days in sometimes inclement weather.
• Minimum age for Crew Leader is 21; minimum age for crew is 18.

Additional Information:

• $500 bonus to Crew Leaders with a current applicator's license from the state of ID, WY, MT, UT, WA or OR
• $12.5 / day fuel stipend, approximately $600 for the season.
• $200 referral bonus for each friend referred who takes a job with Landganics.
• Landganics does not provide housing.
• Paychecks are cut every two weeks.
