St. Luke’s Health System in Boise is seeking a Orderly to join our Surgical Services team.
St. Luke’s Boise operating room (Surgical Services) is seeking an Orderly. This position is a great introduction into healthcare and surgery for those interested in learning about surgical equipment, procedures, and processes. High-paced, team-oriented environment. No experience necessary with on- the-job training provided.
Responsibilities
- Prepares operating rooms with needed equipment and ensures all equipment is working properly.
- Assists with the setting up of the operating room beds and helps with the positioning of patient if needed.
- May transport patients and floor beds to their assigned rooms.
- Transports equipment, specimen, supplies, and medications.
- Assists with cleaning of the operating room.
- Cleans equipment and maintains storeroom.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
