Job Description:
As a Milk PlantOrder Selector, you will play a crucial role in our operations by accurately and efficiently selecting orders for shipment to our customers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing customer orders and ensuring accuracy.
- Safely operating material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Back-up Yard Goat driver.
- Selecting and staging dairy products for shipment.
- Loading and unloading delivery trucks.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Open schedule availability. Weekends required.
- Prior experience in order selection or a similar role preferred.
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy items.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain certification).
