Order Replenishment Analyst in Huntersville, NC at American Tire Distributors

The Order Replenishment Analyst is responsible for ensuring the timely replenishment of inventory to meet customer needs in alignment with the demand plans, inventory plans and brand strategies. The Analyst is responsible for executing the purchasing strategy for the daily, weekly and monthly execution of all purchase orders. The Analyst will collaborate with the Inventory Manager, ATD’s vendors and service providers, and ATD’s Operations team to ensure the smooth flow of product from our vendors DCs to ATD’s DCs. This position will perform analysis on replenishment orders in order to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts. The Analyst will serve as the primary point of contact for vendor customer service personnel to ensure shipping compliance, order processing and support requests from the vendor made to ATD.

• Generate and prioritize replenishment orders based on supply and demand forecasts and replenishment parameters (Service Levels and Lead Time) to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts
• Manage purchase order lifecycle including maintenance of “order book” e.g. excess and aged order cancelation
• Remove any roadblocks in order to maximize the amount of product available to ATD flowing from vendors to ATD DCs  
• Execute on supply chain strategies to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory levels and targets, replenishment orders, and supplier performance
• Review system recommendations and open to buy targets in order to create and release purchase orders
• Proactively identify stock out issues, determine root cause, and resolve pertaining issues leading to continued improvement
• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory replenishment, such as order fill rate, stockout rate, and forecast accuracy to report to inventory and planning manager and director of inventory management 
• Monitor inventory levels and track stock movements to optimize inventory turnover and minimize carrying costs
• Extract insights from inventory and sales data to identify trends and opportunities across pods 
• Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance Order Replenishment efficiency
• Coordinate with suppliers and to ensure timely and accurate order placement, receipt, and lead times 
• Collaborate with transportation partners to ensure smooth flow of product from ports to DCs exports to customers 
• Participate in vendor collaboration meetings to ensure that the supply chain targets are being met, drive implementation of improvements where these are needed e.g., available to fill, fill rate targets, stock outs, etc.
• Resolve vendor’s and operation’s issues related to any aspect of the purchase order life cycle – order / weight minimums, delivery scheduling, carrier failures, conflict resolution, receiving issues, discrepancies
• Support business with ad-hoc supply analysis and reporting
• Drive analysis required to produce special order supply recommendations 
• Achieve specific procurement goals or provide support to others while following established procurement systems and protocols
• Deliver specific category goals within a category plan/program in line with the organizations’ purchasing/procurement and/or sales strategy
• Collect and analyze the key cost drivers, market dynamics and issues, areas of innovation, and alternative suppliers for a low-risk area with many alternatives/minimum costs of changing, in consultation with relevant functions to provide solid market information for decision making

     

• 1 to 3 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management field
