Warehouse Associate – Order Picker

Job Description

The warehouse associate is responsible for specialized warehouse tasks in loading, unloading, order pulling, and shipping, or may have a generalized role working in all departments.

Responsibilities

• Loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, and transportation of goods.
• Load and unload materials to and from the designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles. Stack or pile materials, such as boxes or pallets as well as shipping trucks.
• Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
• Process paperwork necessary for order completion.
• Verify computations against physical count of stock – Cycle Counting.
• Maintains condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in the correct location, etc.).
• Follow company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same.
• Operate machinery in order to complete tasks.
• Utilize RF equipment when fulfilling orders.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Promotes a safe work environment through personal actions. Identify and report any concerns.
