Absolute Biotech unites multiple antibody-centric brands into a single organization specializing in antibody reagents, kits and services. We offer a wide selection of catalog reagents, as well as custom antibody sequencing, engineering and recombinant expression services. Our global client base includes pharmaceutical, biotech and diagnostic companies, as well as academic institutions. Our mission is to serve as “antibody curators” for customers worldwide, treating each antibody like a work of art to deliver unique and absolutely defined reagents that empower scientists.

Location: Shirley, MA US - must reside in the U.S. and be authorized to work in the U.S.

What will you do?

This position reports directly to the Director of operations and assists with entering, picking, packing and shipping orders as well as invoicing. Additionally there are some purchasing related tasks that you need to assist on. Specific duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

Order processing

• Processing all incoming Purchase Orders in our personalized order processing module in Windows (Access based) and data entry of all orders in the order processing files.
• Picking and packing all products (from the walk-in freezer) and preparing documentation for each shipment.
• Arrange the shipment of the orders with the appropriate carrier
• Keep customers informed about stock and shipment status
• Tracking all backorders
• Assist in inventory counting

Purchasing

• Manage all vendors
• Create PO’s
• Check incoming goods
• Check all incoming invoices
• Enter/register incoming products in stock system
• Physical stock checks

Other duties and tasks may be assigned.

Your responsibilities will encompass order entry, efficient packing and shipping, accurate invoicing, and handling all aspects of purchasing to meet the demands of our valued customers and maintain the smooth operation of our supply chain. Minimum job requirements:

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• At least 1 year of experience in an administrative position (preferably the life science industry).
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Customer service: friendly and service oriented.
• Computer skills: able to work well with data entry and data processing systems as well as Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be willing to work in a -4F (walk-in freezer) environment for short periods of time (PPE provided by employer).
• Is comfortable working in a biohazard environment, practicing good safety habits
• Authorized to work in the United States.
