Who we are: Peters' Heat Treating is a privately held, family-owned business located in Meadville, PA.
A Day in the Life: The Order Entry Clerk is the first touch for all jobs coming into the plant. This job may include but is not limited to computer entry of orders, routing orders, tracking job status, racking parts, hardness testing, sandblasting, shipping and answering phones. The position is integrated into the operations of the plant floor and is not an office/administrative role. It is pertinent that the applicant is able to follow procedures and that he/she is consistent, accurate, detail oriented, able to multi-task and above all has exceptional communication skills. Training provided for appropriate candidates.
The successful candidate will have:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A good attendance record
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to work from verbal and written instructions
- Ability to pass all pre-employment processes
- Ability to lift/push/pull 50 pounds
- Ability to stand to perform work
