Description:
As a Senior Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions within a data-intensive financial company environment.
This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in advanced PL/SQL and analysis, along with expertise in Agile projects, ETL tools such as SSIS, MSBI, or related BI tools, and a strong background in the Financial Services industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering: Gather and analyze software requirements, focusing on data-intensive financial applications.
Advanced PL/SQL Development: Develop and maintain complex PL/SQL code for data analysis and database management functions.
Agile Project Management: Work collaboratively within Agile project teams, utilizing Agile methodologies. Experience with Jira is a plus.
ETL Tool Proficiency: Utilize ETL tools such as SSIS, MSBI, or related BI tools for data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
Financial Services Experience: Apply prior experience in the Financial Services industry to enhance software solutions and meet industry-specific requirements.
Database Design: Design logical and physical database models, ensuring efficient data storage, retrieval, and management.
Communication and Collaboration: Communicate technical concepts clearly and professionally with all levels of the organization. Work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in advanced PL/SQL development and data analysis.
Hands-on experience with Agile projects; familiarity with Jira is a plus.
Proficiency in ETL tools, such as SSIS, MSBI, or related BI tools.
Previous experience in the Financial Services industry is advantageous.
Strong analytical skills and ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in designing database models, both logical and physical.
Understanding of data administration and management functions, including data collection, analysis, distribution, and consumption.
