SUMMARY
We seek a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and talented professional with a background in Oracle ERP and hands-on project management experience. The Oracle EBS Project Manager will have responsibility for all ERP projects resulting in successful delivery and will be experienced in working with onsite and offshore teams. The ideal candidate should have project delivery experience and functional understanding of product development life cycle management, Oracle SCM, Manufacturing, Warehouse Management and Finance modules to enable development of rational project plans and execution.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Successfully supported Oracle SCM, Oracle Manufacturing and Oracle Warehouse modules.
  • Ability to support SCM and Manufacturing modules as a backup functional resource.
  • Manage the documentation of business requirements, functional requirements/specifications, interface requirements, data conversion requirements, implementation requirements, use cases, scope changes, and design documentation.
  • Ability to work with key steak holders and Oracle ERP team to establish performance targets and track progress by creating concise reporting through various means (e.g., electronic, database, PERT and Gantt type project management tools).
  • Effective communications and interpersonal skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills. With the ability to clearly report on plan implementation progress, and motivate staff to follow the timelines, report progress, and adapt and adjust as required.
  • Define and manage project plans, milestones, and engagement profitability.
  • Manage the agreed scope of the Project(s) to ensure that Change Requests are called out, decided upon, and adjusted against the timeline. Identify inter-dependencies between the various stakeholder groups to ensure all are aligned, and risks are identified, mitigated, and communicated.
  • Control and report progress periodically and escalate any issues, as appropriate, on time, and initiate corrective action where necessary to keep the Project(s) on track.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage the workload of multiple projects and tasks and work under time constraints.
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision to meet project deadlines.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
  • Associate degree or bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • 5+ years of Oracle ERP functional experience consisting of at least 3+ years of Project Management experience in managing Oracle EBS projects implementations.
  • Oracle ERP techno/functional experience in any module is a plus.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • Overall strong Project Management capabilities and proven experience in delivering complex Oracle Applications projects using Oracle AIM and OUM methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle SCM, Oracle Manufacturing, Oracle Warehouse Management and Finance modules.
  • Experience in Project Planning tools.
  • Must have strong organization, documentation, and communication skills.
