Job description

Goldbelt Nighthawk designs develops and implements comprehensive solutions for problem spaces including computer security, Cloud implementations and migration, scalable architectures, advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and network/data center operations. Specializing in incident response at the local and enterprise-wide levels as well as forensic analysis, our personnel deliver threat analysis and reporting while implementing solutions based on mature planning and development practices.

 

Summary:

Goldbelt Nighthawk is hiring for a Oracle Database Administrator to support of a long-term contract in Mechanicsburg, PA.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide Oracle Database services to a team of contractor and government employees in Secure Computing Architecture and Brokerage services.
  • Experience with Cloud database technologies (i.e. AWS RDS, Oracle, Databases on EC2) and hands-on experience on database migrations from On-Prem to Cloud (AWS) using Oracle Native tools and AWS DMS.
  • Experience with Oracle IDM security stack software including Oracle Access Manager (OAM), Oracle Identity Management (OIM).
  • Install, configure and replicate Oracle Directory Services (OID, OUD) across multiple sites.
  • Technologies include but are not limited to Oracle based tools such as current versions of, Oracle HTTP Server (OHS), WebLogic, Oracle Databases, and SQL Servers and other less common tools such as Apache based software Web Server and Tomcat servers and Red Hat application servers.
  • Provide participation in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) principles in the development of workflows, task accomplishment and implementation/management of Cloud services.
  • Provide mentorship and training for government personnel as a normal part of daily operations and training, as required.
  • Incorporate Security Controls Continuous Monitoring and Risk Management Framework (RMF) NIST SP 800-37, Security Risk Impact Analysis, Monitoring, and Reporting
  • Be cognizant of Vulnerability Management including Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) closures.
  • Provide guidance on Secure Computing Architecture, Cloud Brokerage Services, Shared Security Services Management, Cloud Security Support Services, Cloud Governance, Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) coordination, Departmental Cloud/Hybrid certification Promote an environment of continuous process improvement, learning and team collaboration.

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Excellent customer service, organizational, and writing skills.
  • Ability to communicate at Officer/Senior Enlisted/GS level in a military support environment.
  • Ability to use plain language to communicate complex concepts to all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to escalate issues quickly to enable. rapid resolution.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-directed conflict resolution.
  • Excellent organizational skills Familiar with information security and assurance principles and associated supporting technologies.
  • Excellent attention to details.
  • Experience with Commercial, FEDRAMP High/ DoD Impact Level 2, 4, and 5 Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud offerings. Web Server, Application Server, Database administration in Oracle, and Microsoft toolsets. Networking and related device experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent years of experience.
  • Minimum five (5) or more years of experience in the following areas: Oracle Database Administrator, DoD information system development processes configuration/change management
  • Information Assurance Technical II (IAT-2)
  • One or more of the following baseline certifications: CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP
  • One or more of the following computing environment certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Certified Advanced Networking, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Oracle Database Server, Red Hat Certified System Administrator or equivalent certification.
  • Successful Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI), T5 or T5R equivalent investigation.
