Oracle Cloud Epm Manager

The Oracle EPM Manager is responsible for administrating & maintaining the Oracle EPM (PBCS & FCCS) applications globally and is seen as a liaison between Finance, IT, and the user groups. This role will manage 3+ Oracle EPM administrators in the U.S. and globally.

• Manage Oracle EPM applications (Oracle PBCS & FCCS), which includes review and oversight of processes, writing and reviewing business rules, testing application changes, troubleshooting system issues, and implementing, reviewing and maintaining IT controls
• Review and design processes to maintain applications and ensures applications stay in sync
• Ensure appropriate data governance controls have been implemented both inside the application and for all upstream processes. Proactively identify any control gaps in existing and new processes; design additional controls to remediate/address these requirements
• Maintain currently developed Oracle EPM applications and develop/design new functionality and processes (metadata, sub-variables, business calculation script development) within the application as needed to address business needs. Periodically review current design processes and design/drive the implementation of improvements as needed to improve/optimize performance
• Maintain data loading processes; design additional processes as needed to address business needs
• Work closely with business end-users to identify process improvements, new functionality, and requirements; manage the implementation of these changes
• Process system tasks and procedures for new releases and regression testing; train team members as needed and update internal documentation to address any system changes
• Develop processes and control framework for financial systems and reporting tools
• Maintain applications including system stability and uptime; report any risks to management and design solutions for these risks
• Act as primary user contact for IT related issues for Oracle EPM; partner closely with IT organization to resolve user and system issues in a timely manner
• Manage a team of 2-4 Oracle EPM analysts onshore and offshore

Education

• Bachelors in one of the following: Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting. MBA or CPA preferred. Knowledge of Financial Systems and IT terminologies a must

Relevant Work Experience

• Must have 4-6 years of experience as an EPM System Administrator
• Working knowledge of Hyperion/EPM, Essbase, Hyperion Financial Report Studio, and SmartView and Cloud EPM apps preferred
• Experience with Data Management/FDMEE
• Understanding of change control and testing methodologies is preferred
• Experience designing, maintaining, and executing IT controls relating to planning and consolidations tools
• Must have strong Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) skills
• Must have deep knowledge of Essbase calc script and consolidation business rules development
• Must have experience in accounting and finance, and understand impacts on financial management and reporting tools and systems
• Ability to work as a liaison between functional business groups and Information Technology
• Global Planning and Consolidation processes strongly preferred, including cash flow statements, intercompany eliminations, investment eliminations and financial statements
• Must have solid communication (verbal / written) and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities
• Maintain a positive, can-do attitude and proactively reach out to users to provide good customer service
