Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioural Competency) Must-Have:
Certified Oracle Apps DBA, R12 Upgrade experience, Database upgrade, Platform migration(AIX to Linux), Cloning, Patch Management and Version Control, Good understanding of the Oracle database, related utilities and tools, Database design and implementation, database tuning and Performance monitoring, technical trouble shooting.

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role:
- Installation, configuration and upgrading of Oracle server software and related products
- Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures
- Monitor application related jobs and data replication activities
- Write database procedures, functions and triggers
- Must have worked on at least one R12 upgrade project and Platform migration from Aix to Linux project.
- Perform general technical trouble shooting and give consultation to development teams
- Plan growth and changes (capacity planning)
